The property was excellent, would highly recommend, the views were stunning. There was plenty of space for 8 adults and 3 children. The master bedroom is great. The walk to the beach is 5 mins down hill but 10 up hill which is steep, however hiring of car or bike is easy and cheap.

Only word of caution we traveled with active 3 year old the infinity pool is amazing but by its nature does not have any barrier around it with a drop of approx 4 meters so extra care was taken.

The Villa is gorgeous

Just got back a week a go and we had a fantastic time at Temple Villa. We went in low season and nearly everything on the Island was open, including the 7/11 (5-10 mins walk down the hill and to the left) and the awesome Why Not? bar (10 mins walk, turn right at the 7/11).

Kantiang beach is a 10 minute walk and can be seen from the living room/balcony of the villa. Its one of the few beaches cleaned all year round and is great for swimming, bodyboarding (particularly in stormy weather) and sunbathing, with a beach bar and restaurant (Why Not?) at the Villa end. The Villa itself is gorgeous, we had 9 people (2 couples in 2 double rooms, 2 lads with a double room each, and 3 lads in the triple room), and we were amazed at the sight of the striking red roofs atop the hill when we came round the corner for the first time. It really is huge - masses of space even with 9 people - large living room, large fridge, and the pool is much bigger than it looks in the photos - 5 1/2 feet deep at the infinity end. Views are phenomenal, with beautiful sunsets and great views of the waves crashing on the rocks.

We were looked after extremely well by Bambie (the Villa rep) and were supplied with a Thai phone with credit to book activities. Youll definitely want to rent a car as it is too hot to walk anywhere and taxis are a rare luxury on Lanta, we managed to get a Toyota Hilux for £25 a day from Lanta Car Rental (in Ban Saladan). Wed definitely recommend it to others, our parents are probably going to be visiting at some point on our recommendation - have a good time!"

I just wanted to say thank you for the use of your beautiful villa! We are all agreed that we have just had the best family holiday ever. The villa is stunning and the views like nothing we have seen before - just breathtaking!

We loved Lanta, the people, the food and we experienced so many new things (elephant trekking, scuba diving .... an amazing Songkran party at Bambies and the most beautiful and deserted beaches)....

Thanks also for organizing transfers etc - it all went like a dream."
